User access control is one of the five Cyber Essentials technical control themes. The current requirements address account management, authentication, passwords, passwordless authentication and multi-factor authentication. This course focuses on that area; completing it is not the same as obtaining Cyber Essentials certification.
Yes. The course addresses multi-factor authentication alongside strong passwords, account management and secure access. Under the current Cyber Essentials requirements, MFA is mandatory for cloud services where it is available.
