Who is the Cyber Essentials Readiness Training for?
It is designed primarily for MSPs, IT providers, developing assessors, consultants and other professionals who support clients with Cyber Essentials readiness and assessment preparation.
Do I need previous Cyber Essentials experience?
No. The course builds understanding progressively and is suitable for people who are new to supporting Cyber Essentials as well as those who want to strengthen their practical knowledge.
Does the course focus only on getting a client through an assessment?
No. Assessment preparation is part of the course, but there is also a strong focus on ongoing readiness and how changes to devices, software, users, cloud services and access can affect a client's Cyber Essentials position throughout the year.
Is this the official Cyber Essentials Assessor Training Course?
No. This is practical supplementary training from Positive Cyber Solutions. It does not replace IASME assessor training, examination or onboarding requirements.
Can I complete the online course at my own pace?
Yes. Once launched, the course will be delivered online and will be self-paced.
Can I attend training before the online course launches?
Yes. PCS is running an in-person Cyber Essentials Readiness Workshop at Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday 22 October 2026.
